It’s anime day! I’ve specifically set aside a day for my anime. The vlog is unexpectedly short due to my excessive fangirling throughout the day. I originally planned to go to Swallowtail butler cafe but I found out that they were closed that day and there were no other days that I could go. I put off reserving a table for too long and there were no more spots left for the rest of the week. To make up for it, I found out that there was an Alice in Wonderland themed cafe/restaurant in Ikebukuro, so we decided to head over there instead.
It’s day three and we were finally going to see the cherry blossoms!
It was a very short, somewhat relaxed day for us. I tasted my very first corn dog (they actually call it ‘American Dog’ in Japan). Our agenda for the day was just Tokyo tower.
It’s day one and we ate. A LOT! We experienced our first Japanese queue. All I can say is that you definitely need a lot of patience when you’re queueing in Japan cause it could literally take you hours. To be totally fair though, it was moving fairly fast and they are very efficient. I knew that the Japanese take on western food was gonna be good but I seriously did not expect it to be that good. I was so glad that I was proven wrong!
After months of procrastination, I’m finally getting around to editing my travel videos. (About time!) To be fair, I had this one kinda done from my first night in Tokyo. It just took me a looooooooong while before I was happy with the whole edit.
Anywho, expect a new vlog to be up every week until I have finally gotten through all my backlog. I really need to stop procrastinating… *sigh*
I’ve been quiet for quite a while but that’s because there wasn’t any real travelling done the past year. That’s all about to change starting today!
If anyone has been following me on twitter, I’ve been posting non-stop the past couple of weeks about my Japan trip. Anyone who knows me, will know that I’ve been dreaming about heading over to Japan since I was a little girl. It took a couple of false starts and a year of planning but today is day! Alfafa and I are heading over to Japan today! To prepare for this trip, I’ve redesigned the blog and created a youtube channel as a companion for this blog (Look for Sakura and Alfafa on youtube!). I’ll be documenting my whole Japan experience and posting stuff on my twitter the whole time so keep an eye on those.
Japan is just the beginning. I’ve got a couple more trips schedule for 2017 and I’m looking forward to visiting new countries with Alfafa and share them all with you!
